Construction to start Monday at Midtown | Business

Construction is set to begin Monday on the infrastructure that will transform the old Midtown Mall into an 8.6-acre property, ready for new development.

The first phase will create the streets and infrastructure necessary to support development, including work on the underground service tunnel.

Construction has already begun on the former Seneca Building, which will be taken over by Windstream next summer.

The Midtown Rochester Rising Project is set for completion at the end of 2013.
