Salvation Army's red kettles going green
The iconic red Salvation Army kettles are going green for the first time ever in Rochester. The goal is to raise $15,000 to help send kids to day and overnight camp this summer and to support other programs during the school year.
Kettles will be out during the four weekends in June and will be located at garden centers as opposed to the traditional kettle sites. The bells are being replaced with wind chimes.
