A jury has found a Rochester man guilty of strangling a Rochester woman to death one year ago.
After an hour and a half of deliberating, a jury found been Matthew Townsend guilty of second degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Toccara Harmon.
Harmon was found strangled to death one year ago. Her body was found in a garbage bin behind a building a Lyell Avenue. A restaurant worker found the body.
Last year, a judge declared Matthew Townsend's case a mistrial because three jurors had been talking about the case outside of court.
Matthew Townsend will be sentenced on April 5th.He faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
