Rochester man charged with attempted arson | Crime
A Rochester man has been charged with attempted arson following an incident on Seward Street on Friday.
27-year-old Robert Tillard is charged with attempted arson, a felony.
Investigators say emergency crews were called to a home on Seward Street around 10:30 Friday for a male who was threatening to burn the home down. When crews arrived, they say they could smell a heavy scent of gasoline outside the home and found that gasoline had been poured on the porch and around the outside of the home.
Officials say Tillard was involved in an ongoing dispute with another man at the house, and that's what led to the arson attempt.
Tillard was scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Saturday morning.
