Two rescued, two others escape overnight fire on Finch St.
Two people were rescued from the porch roof and two others escaped from a burning house on Finch Street in Rochester overnight.
Firefighters say a smoke alarm went off inside the house just before 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, alerting people inside that the house was on fire. Firefighters extinguished the flames quickly and were able to get a ladder to the roof so two people could climb down. They say two others escaped safely from inside the home.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
