Hundreds of people came out to Ontario Beach Park for Memorial Day festivities, however this year is a lot different than last year's holiday weekend...
Last year police had to shut down the park due to several fights and incidents.
They made more than a dozen arrests in just one day, but so far they have not made any.
There are a few days left but police say they are staying on top of the crowd and if anything were to happen they would take swift action.
The Rib Fest has attracted even more people to the park and police say the crowd has been calm so far. As a matter of fact they haven't had any issues at all.
News 10 NBC was down there earlier today and it seemed like every one was simply enjoying the food and the music.
It was noticed Rochester PD and Sheriff's Deputies were on duty making sure the crowd stays calm.
When asked about the incidents thank have occurred through out the past few weeks RPD Chief says he's well aware of the issues they've had and he doesn't think any of those incidents will escalate over the weekend.
