Finalists named in RCSD superintendent search | People

Two finalists have been announced in the search for superintendent of the Rochester City School District.

One of the finalist is Interim Superintendent Bolgen Vargas. Some people claim he's had an unfair advantage in the selection process but board members say he's had to meet the same standards as the other candidates.

The second finalist is Andre Spencer. He is the school improvement officer at the Houston Independent School District in Texas.

The community will have a chance to meet Spencer on April 17 during a community forum at East High School.
